TFM achieves its critical mass through its ability to focus on a number of lines of business in the Transport Engineering Industry. Individually each line of business can experience large fluctuations in demand.
Our wide product range, utilising common core competencies in Marketing, Engineering and Manufacturing, allows for a substantial smoothing on factory loading and consistent growth. Over and above these business lines, TFM also exploits "projects", thus defined, due to the once off nature of their demand, or their complexity. By utilising our in-house project management capability, these projects make substantial contributions to our company's profitability, but are generally only embarked upon if the possibility exists that the project become mainstream business.
